Abstract

The article reflects on the impacts of coloniality on the way the Legislature acts in the area of Cultural Heritage in Rio Grande do Sul through the analysis of the Bill 382/2021, which consolidates the legislation on cultural objects that are part of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, which has been working in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio Grande do Sul since November 2021. Finally, it is presented a proposal for a rupture with this way of act.
