Abstract

The article brings reflections on migration and racism and their subjective effects from the disquiet produced by literature, in particular the poems "Everything here is an exile" by Lubi Prates and "Song of exile" by Gonçalves Dias. The feeling of exile produced in people who are racialized and also in a migratory context is discussed. The aim of the essay is to understand what Brazil the poems portray and how this may affect this population. The right to literature is defended as one of the decolonial outlets for the feeling of not belonging that is passable in the experience of being a black body in Brazil whether it is from here or not.
