EditorialAbstract
Presents edition no. 1 of Vol. 50 of the Journal of the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Uberlândia, recalling the difficulties that surrounds publishing journals, especially in post-pandemic times and the continuous accumulation of activities by everyone who participates in the editorial process, including authors, reviwers and the editorial team itself. It emphasizes, in this turn, that the Burnout Syndrome is common among university professors, especially among women, in order to celebrate the participation of 32 authors identified as women (out of a total of 57) in the present commemorative edition of the 50th anniversary of the FADIR/UFU Journal. Furthermore, referring to the dossier that is part of this edition, it is emphasized that the digitalization of life has brought several challenges to the guarantee and effectiveness of fundamental rights, in addition to cases of burnout. Thus, emphasis was placed on the relevant role that Law, especially from a critical point of view, plays in order to (re)think reality.
