The Superior Court of Justice (STJ, in the Portuguese acronym) decided for the exhaustiveness of the list of procedures of the National Health Agency. The decision has an impact on the use of services by consumers who have health plans, since it makes it impossible to use procedures and treatments that are not on the list established by the agency and that have proven effectiveness in the face of medical diagnoses and other agents. Such a decision affects the fundamental right to health and indicates a possible setback. Therefore, this article proposes the analysis of the decision of the STJ, verifying the information contained in relation to the contrary and favorable votes for the taxation of the sun, also verifying the effects of the decision.
