Abstract

After the struggle of many citizens, the military dictatorship was overcome, democracy was regained and the Federal Constitution was repealed in 1967. After a wide discussion, with a good democratic participation of the Brazilian Citizenship, the current Brazilian Constitution was promulgated on October 05, 1988 In fact, with a reasonable debate in the National Congress, important innovations have been constituted, including from the point of view of Citizenship Law, although not consecrating the contemporary citizen conception, since it is under construction, even though it is little considered by the current doctrinators.
