Abstract

O foco do artigo Um prefeito, a revolução e os jumentos: testemunhos de um prefeito "modelo" é discutir a "face" da obra 64: Um prefeito, a revolução e os Jumentos (A fábula do presidenciável Salém), publicada em 1983, de autoria do escritor e político Euclides Teixeira Neto, apontando as fronteiras e porosidades entre o testemunho e a memória, a história e a literatura, o oral e o escrito e, ao mesmo tempo, o estilo irônico, satírico e chistoso.
