Presents edition no. 2 of vol. 49 of the Journal of the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Uberlândia, recalling that the coloniality present in social relations today is also glimpsed in the editorial field insofar as publications with large circulation – and citation – are usually written in foreign languages, especially in English, as well as published by international journals linked to celebrated European or American institutions. Therefore, encouraging the publication of texts signed by Brazilian authors and from other non-central nations of the world-system, linked to national institutions or even foreigners, in Latin or non-predominant languages, proves to be essential for the dissemination of delocalized knowledge subjectively and epistemologically, but of quality, that can collaborate with the reflection of the modern world from other visions, with a view to understanding and improving it.
