This article aims to analyze the corporate social liability to ensure the social right to work, which is provided by the brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988. This social liability has significantly increased as internationalization of markets occurs, at a time when international events are increasingly influencing national economic dynamics. In order to do so, this paper presents the effect of the decline in the Nation-State model on the legal relations between State, company and worker. In addition, this article also proposes to reflect on the dichotomy between economic development and the guarantee of labor rights.
