Notwithstanding various current issues, such as judicialization of politics, judicial activism, crisis of representation, candidacies, among others, this article has the ability to treat in an analytical way the request in the Extraordinary Appeal n. 1.054.490 of the Brazilian Supreme Court, which deals with the possibility of individual candidacy applications in Brazil. In addition, it is important to wonder about how the judiciary has acted in this case so important for national political destiny.
