MEMÓRIAS E NARRATIVAS: HISTÓRIA DOS ENFERMEIROS NO HOSPITAL DE CLÍNICAS DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE UBERLÂNDIA

Resumo

O propósito desse estudo é compreender e resgatar parte do início da História da Enfermagem do HC/UFU e da inserção dos(as) enfermeiros(as), que atuaram no período da federalização da Universidade e da criação da Diretoria de Enfermagem. Para tanto, utilizou-se a pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter descritivo com o referencial teórico, da história oral de vida. A amostra constou de sete enfermeiros(as). Foi utilizada entrevista semiestruturada como instrumento de coleta de dados. As transcrições das entrevistas foram submetidas à análise temática e possibilitaram a síntese das categorias: atuaram no período da federalização do HC/UFU; ênfase no período de atuação no HC/UFU; mudanças que ocorreram no Serviço de Enfermagem após a chegada destes enfermeiros no HC/UFU; a História de Enfermagem no HC/UFU na década de 1970-1980; dificuldades encontradas no início do desenvolvimento do Serviço de Enfermagem no HC/UFU.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to understand the early history of nursing, HC / UFU and rescue part of the history of the introduction of (the) nurses (as), who acted during the federalization of the University and the creation of the Board of Nursing. For this, we used the qualitative research and descriptive to the theoretical framework, the Oral History of Life. The sample consisted of seven nurses (as). Semi-structured interview was used as a tool for data collection. The interview transcripts were subjected to thematic analysis, allowing the synthesis of the following categories: acted during the federalization of HC / UFU; emphasis on the period of performance in the HC / UFU, changes that occurred in the Nursing Service nurses after their arrival in HC / UFU, the History of Nursing at the HC / UFU in the decade 70-80; difficulties in the early development of nursing services at the HC / UFU.
