Sobre condições comuns e alternativas distintas: trabalhadores buscando espaços e construindo histórias. Uberlândia em fins do século XX e início do século XXI

Resumo

Busquei, neste trabalho, reunir, a partir de lutas empreendidas por trabalhadores para conquistarem suas moradias, questões que tratam das experiências sociais enquanto uma relação classista. Ao se movimentarem a partir de uma condição compartilhada, os trabalhadores deixam perceber como viviam, o que pensavam e o que esperavam de suas vidas na cidade. Empenhei-me em discutir o modo como a desigualdade deixa marcas, mas que não anula a potência dos trabalhadores, que não retira a consciência que possuem sobre a vida que levam. Ao mesmo tempo, também evidenciei que suas ações apontam um processo aberto de confrontação de interesses e valores ao se viver a cidade. Este artigo compõe o interesse em pensar o que significa ser trabalhador na cidade de Uberlândia, no final do século XX e início do século XXI.

ABSTRACT: I searched, in this work, gather, by means of struggles undertaken by workers to win their homes, the issues dealing with their social experiences while relation of classes. At themselves move in a shared condition, the workers left see how they lived, what they thought and what was expected of their lives in the city. I have endeavored to discuss how inequality leaves marks, but that does not nullify the power of workers, which does not diminish the conscience they have about the lives they lead. At the same time, I was also intended show that their actions indicate an open process of confrontation of interests and values when whether to dispute the city. This article have the interest in thinking about what it means be worker in Uberlândia, in the end of twentieth century and in the early century XXI.
