ESPAÇO RURAL EM TRANSFORMAÇÃO: UM LUGAR DE (QUAL) MEMÓRIA?

Resumo

Interpretando um processo histórico de produção de um território subordinado ao desenvolvimento de atividades agroindustriais baseadas em grandes plantações florestais homogêneas e por meio do qual o mundo rural local sofreu transformações significativas, o artigo discute como os diversos atores privados e públicos, dominantes e subordinados construíram uma leitura própria dos elementos dessa história e aborda as principais implicações tanto do processo quanto da forma como ele foi apropriado e elaborado.

ABSTRACT

This article discusses the way in which the private, public, dominant and subordinate social actors have made their reading of the production history. It does so by interpreting the production historical process of agrarian and industrial activities based on great and homogenous wood plantation, since it meant relevant changes in the rural sphere. The article also approaches the main implications of both the process and the way in which it was assumed and elaborated by those actors.
