Abstract

The energy efficiency improvement generates positive impacts on the society and environment. One of the possibilities to have a diagnosis of energy efficiency is the use of Energy Efficiency Indicators (EEI). This application, supported by energy management software that uses the EEI, may help an energy utility to create energy efficiency programs targeted to industry sectors where the EEI show a situation with opportunities for improvement. This article shows a bibliometric analysis and a content analysis regarding the subject Fuzzy QFD - Quality Function Deployment (FQFD) and an application through a computational simulation using the FQFD to achieve the prioritization of EEI as inputs for the development of energy management software. The simulation result showed that it is possible to achieve prioritization of EEI in a situation where the incoming data for QFD are introduced as linguistic variables rather than numeric variables, building up an opportunity to use Fuzzy logic in combination with QFD. Keywords: QFD, Fuzzy Logic, Energy Management, Fuzzy-QFD, Energy Efficiency Indicators.
