Abstract
In order to broaden the debate about artist publications, this article presents reflections and analises based on the set of texts gathered in the edition of the “Publications of artist: approaches”, in the second number of Estado da Arte Magazine(2020). The argument takes place in the perspective of the plurality of approaches of these modalities that question both the art system, with its agents and institutional criticism, as well as the different ways of being of these works and their circulation spaces, demarcated by social and political relations in the context contemporary art.
