Abstract

The article presents the artistic action “Nature, food and colors” carried out with the Collective of Women of the Contestado Settlement, of the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST), in Lapa – PR, located in the South of Brazil, and in other contexts that occurred. We sought to investigate how action with public can be intersected and mobilized by questions proposed by Paulo Freire’s work, seeking to understand and problematize the terms autonomy and participation referencing the author’s critical pedagogy. By bringing together the two fields of knowledge, art and education, the action proposes an aesthetic experience with the Exchange of knowledge and attention to agroecology.
