Publication Process
Manuscripts whose scientific merit is considered appropriate during the evaluation process will be initially classified as "provisionally accepted." The manuscript will only be definitively accepted after submission of an English language revision certificate by a specialized team.
At this stage, the corresponding author will be contacted, if necessary, to perform minor adjustments and adapt the manuscript to the editorial style of the Bioscience Journal.
After definitive acceptance, the Editorial Team will prepare the page proofs (layout) of the article for review and approval by the authors. During this process, the journal reserves the right to perform adjustments to standards, spelling, and grammar in the English original to maintain language standards, respecting the authors' style.
The final PDF proofs revised by the authors will then be prepared. Detailed information on the publication fee payment, according to our Author Fees Policy, will be sent to the corresponding author at this stage.
All authors are encouraged to carefully review the page proofs before publication. However, final approval of the proofs is requested only from the corresponding author, who is responsible for forwarding and collecting approval from the others.
After final approval of the proofs and confirmation of the publication fee payment, the article will receive a persistent DOI identifier (deposited at Crossref) and will be published. No physical prints of the articles will be provided. Published articles will be available for download and printing in PDF format on the Bioscience Journal website.
