Clinical Trials

The Bioscience Journal adheres to the ICMJE clinical trial definition, defined as any study that assigns interventions to people or participant groups, with or without comparison or control groups, to evaluate resultant health effects. Interventions include drugs, surgical procedures, devices, behavioral treatments, educational programs, dietary interventions, quality improvement interventions, and care process changes. Resultant health effects are any biomedical or health-related measures obtained from patients or group participants, including pharmacokinetic measures and adverse events.

 

Clinical trials must be registered before the first participant inclusion, per ICMJE guidelines. Registry name and protocol number are mandatory and must be informed in “Material and Methods” and “Ethics Approval” sections. Registrations are accepted in:
